Bank of North Carolina Unifies the Brand

Since our early days, BNC has been used to refer to our Bank and its services. We are proud of our BNC brand, which validates the strong reputation BNC has built and emphasizes our focus toward the future and respect for the past.

In anticipation of its 25th anniversary, we are unifying our brand across our footprint. The BNC Bank name represents where we are today as a company and helps to position ourselves as a Bank with a strong reputation both in North Carolina and beyond. Our updated logo represents our long standing history by continuing to showcase our flagship cardinal as one that is modern and in-flight, signifying our momentum, vision and growth.

In 2010, BNC acquired South Carolina-based Beach First National Bank. Thirteen acquisitions later, the Bank operates from 71 locations throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia with total assets of $6.5 billion.
